Haw River State Park

This new state park comprises 1,300 acres at the headwaters of the Haw River in North Carolina's Piedmont region. Our phased master plan for improvements and potential expansion includes long-range development of an existing conference/environmental education facility and grounds. The plan also includes access, circulation, trails, camping, a visitor center on existing park property, and land-dependent facilities based on potential land acquisition.
